On September 3, 2020, Secretary-General of TISI, clarified the request for displaying TISI standard mark according to the Industrial Product Standards Act B.E. 2511.
The minutes of meeting are:
1. Subject : New requirement for TIS Mark with QR Code;
2. Formal Announcement Date : Expected on October-November 2020;
3. Effective Date : January  21, 2021;
4. Background: There were several cases in the past where TISI found TIS marked products with fake certification or no certification. The new format of TIS mark with QR code will enable customer to scan the QR code and track related TIS certificate of the product. This can easily identify fake TIS marked products;
5. Procedure: Tentatively, TISI will create a URL link for QR code to licensee (importer). TISI will create an online system so that licensee can request URL link for QR code to cut the hassle. A formal procedure will be issued as “Particular Requirement” for each TIS standard which is expected to be released around October-November 2020.

Below is the expected format, there is no official announcement of format yet:
