BIS released the new gazette notification onmandatory requirements for ISI on PLUG and Socket as per IS 1293 on 4th December, 2019.
 
This will be mandate start from1st of June 2020.
Please note that currentstandard of plug is IS 1293:2005.
And after 25th July 2020 it will be updated to IS 1293:2019.
After 25th July 2020, no registration shall be granted for IS 1293:2005.
